Barbera d'Asti Superiore

This wine is the product of low yield Barbera grapes hand harvested on the sunny slopes of the steep hills in ou property
The oldest vineyard whose grapes give life to 20% of this wine, was planted by our grandfather Gioachino and our father Mario in 1935.
This Barbera gets its true character by spending 12 months in new French oak barrels that add a real spiciness to its fruity aromas and a certain quantity of ligneous tannins which firm up its structure and soften the impact of its acidity.
She shows great potential for ageing, but can be appreciated even now.
Food pairing
Taste great with pot roasts of beef, venison, roast pork loin, strong cheeses, ravioli, bagna cauda, and white truffles

Barbera d'Asti

Barbera grapes are native of the Monferrato hills in the Piedmont region.
Asti appellation indicates the Barbera that is produced in the province of Asti, where she can show its true character in the heart of the Tanaro river valley.
Barbara tends to vary widely. Our Barbera goes from slightly rustic, rich robust to silky smooth, enhanced by violet and cherries aromas, red ruby to brick-red with ageing.
To the taste our Barbera is dry, medium to full body: more pleasant, harmonious and mouth filling with moderate ageing.
Food pairing
Pair this wine with Ravioli, hearty soups, stew and polenta as well as rich aged cheeses and white truffles.

Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato

This white grape takes origins from the area of Gavi and Monferrato hills. It is a pleasurable light and refreshing wine with a lot of concentrated apple and peach flavours.
Medium dry with a pleasant bitter aftertaste of almonds, is very ?polite? to the palate like the meaning of its name.
Food pairing
Try it with antipasto, salads and pastas.

Grignolino d'Asti

The value of this very localized grape variety of the Piedmont region is due to its limited production.
A pale red varietal wine to be drunk young up to 3-4 years.
It has a large variety of tropical fruits aromas when very young with significant tannins.
Food pairing
Delicious with risotto, ?Minestre?, soups made in different ways: fresh vegetables, fava beans, garbanzo beans, rice soups and poultry.
